Identifying your bat
There were two different batches of this bat. The way to tell which one you have is by looking under the grip at the first number in the serial number. The first batch starts with a 1 while the second batch starts with an 8.
Batch One
The first batch of these bats were terrible. They were made of a stiff fiberglass material that had no flexibility and therefore no pop, distance or durability.

Batch Two
The second batch bats were much better than the first ancd made of a completely different material. They are still nowhere near the performance of the original SCX3 Extended though. They are OK to roll and shave and will have decent pop and distance.
